Adam M. Koppel, M.D., Ph.D., has been appointed senior vice president and chief strategy officer at Biogen Idec, effective May 15, 2014. Dr. Koppel will be responsible for leading corporate strategy and portfolio management, reporting to George Scangos, Ph.D., chief executive officer.
